Excellent combo of multicolor Vesuvianite and Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals have from intense purple color to apple-green areas and some grass-green. They are gemmy, with strong luster and are well shaped. Some crystals are doubly terminated. Colorless platy Diopsides are seen too. They are transparent and gemmy with strong luster. Crystallized all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
Cool!
