Cool gemmy Vesuvianite specimen from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals have from purple color to apple-green areas and some green. They are gemmy, with strong luster and are well shaped. Some are doubly terminated. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
