Fascinating specimen of mirror lustrous thin Galena plate decorated with marvelous Calcite crystals from superb find in Krushev dol mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest Galena in the world and this is a choice specimen. It displays sharp, well formed superb flat Galena plate just 2mm thick. It has excellent brilliance and light reflection. On the faces are seen gas bubble deformations. Lustrous rhombohedral Calcite crystals grow densely above. They are colored by micro unidentified inclusions in rusty-orange which gives nice colorfulness. Displays attractively all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some small nicks.
