Pleasing Manganoan Vesuvianite thumbnail specimen from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are small and they grow on a thin bended crust.  The color is rich purple. The luster is strong and the crystals are glassy. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
