Gorgeous thumbnail Manganoan Vesuvianite specimen with striking color from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly terminated crystals are gemmy. They have an amazing color variation from purple to saturate and rich fuchsia caps. The luster is very strong and the crystals are glassy. The main crystal at the top is doubly terminated. The colorfulness of the specimen is splendid. It displays all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small nicks.
