Wonderful specimen of Weloganite crystals from the type locality Francon quarry, Montreal, Quebec, Canada which produced the best Weloganite specimens in the world. On a base covered with small Quartz crystals grow isolated Weloganite crystals. The Weloganites are irregular barrel shaped hexagons up to 19 mm with flat tips. They have growth striations and white to cream color. The mine is closed since decades and this is a choice piece. In very good condition – some small damages.
