Excellent specimen of the famous iridescent "rainbow" Garnet var. Andradite crystals from Kohse mine, Japan. The crystals have pleasing tobacco color with razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and waxy luster. They have natural iridescent coating. The locality is strictly prohibited for collecting so the specimens are rare. Some nicks and back side contact. On acrylic base.
