Superb and very unusual specimen of Quartz crystal sliced by thin Calcite layers from Bor Pit, Dal negorsk, Russia. The Quartz has sharp shape and irregular thickness due to tectonic movements. Thin layers of Calcite cut it by very unusual manner forming cool parallel plates. The Quartz crystal is from translucent to transparent with strong luster. Displays all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
