Powellite is the rarest and most desirable mineral from the Deccan Traps of India.  It displays pleasing colorless to amber colored 23mm doubly terminated Powellite crystal aesthetically growing on colorless Apophyllite. The Powellite has razor sharp dipyramidal shape with glassy luster and pretty striations. The crystal has transparent and gem areas. The Apophyllite crystals have strong luster and excellent gemminess. Displays attractively all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some very small nicks. On acrylic base.
