Marvelous specimen of twinned Tetrahedrite with Calcite, Pyrite and Quartz from Cavnic Mine, Romania. The well isolated Tetrahedrites are sharp tetrahedral crystals up to 13mm. They are black, strongly lustrous and light reflective. The most amazing aspect is the penetration twining with geometrical perfection. White Calcite grows atop. Small Pyrite and Quartz crystals are seen too. In excellent condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
