Offbeat specimen of Garnet var. Andradite crystals decorated with Hematite iron roses from Serifos Island, Greece. It displays rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals up to 7mm. They have pleasant bright brown color at the center and dark brown corners which outlines very nicely each crystal. The Andradites are very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. At the lower part they are partially covered by cream colored carbonate. The Hematite forms rosettes. They are black and sparkling. In good condition - some small nicks and side contacts. On acrylic base.
