Attractive specimen of skeletal Galena decorated by Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very aesthetic and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop other forming amazing terraced structures. The faces are matt lustrous. Attractive decoration is yellow Chalcopyrite crystals. Black Sphalerite crystals are seen too. Small Quartz crystals form the base. In good condition – some nicks and contacts.
