Striking specimen of colorful and gemmy Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality. It displays a base covered by Uvarovite in beautiful crystals up to 3mm big. Typically these Uvarovites are in micro size crystals and very densely grown but these ones are different – with good size and well isolated. They have some gemminess with strong luster and vivid green color. Sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals. Some contacts. On acrylic base.
