Excellent specimen of the famous iridescent "rainbow" Garnet var. Andradite crystals from Kohse mine, Japan. The crystals have pleasing tobacco color with razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and waxy luster. They have natural iridescent coating. The locality is strictly prohibited for collecting so the specimens are rare. In very good condition – some small nicks and back side contact. On acrylic base.
