Killer specimen of skeletal Galena decorated by Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite from the famous 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very attractive and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop other forming amazing terraced structures over Quartz base. The faces are matt lustrous. Attractive decoration is yellow Chalcopyrite crystals growing above. Black Sphalerite crystals are seen too. Displays beautifully all over. In excellent condition – some small nicks.
