Beautiful and rare specimen of Epididymite over Aegirine and Albite from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The white hexagonal crystals of Epididymite are very well shaped and sharp. They have porcelain white color. Black Aegirines blades with pointy tips and strong luster are seen at the center. Colorless Albite form the base. Displays attractively all over 360 degree. Ref: The Mineralogical Record, 21, 332-333. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Outstanding Epididymite specimen!
