Superb specimen of lustrous Garnet var. Andradite var. Melanite crystal sitting on a matrix covered by Epidote from Kayes Region, Mali. The crystals of 26mm is very well shaped and isolated. It is black with perfect razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. It has pretty beveled edges. In excellent condition – some minor nicks.
