Elegant Quartz var. Amethyst specimen forming a nice cluster from Boekenhoutshoek area, South Africa.  It features so called Cactus Quartz with two generations of crystals - a later generation of smaller ones wrapping the original, larger ones. The tips are sharp and clear. It has intense and irregular purple color. Very sharp and well shaped. In very good condition – some outside edges contacts and small nicks. On acrylic base.
