Marvelous Aragonite bursting sprays with Calcite from Gergovie, France. The Aragonite needle crystals are colorless and the black base gives strong contrast.  The crystals are very delicate, translucent to transparent, with sharp well defined shape, fine shimmering and luster. Small white Calcites are seen too. In good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
