Splendid lustrous Garnet var. Andradite var. Melanite crystals decorated by Prehnite from Kayes Region, Mali. One dominant 16mm crystal grows at the top making an excellent focal point. The Melanites are black with perfect sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. They have pretty beveled edges. Yellow-green botryoidal Prehnite cover the back side giving good contrast. In good condition – some contacts and nicks. On acrylic base.
