Impressive big crystal of lustrous Garnet var. Andradite var. Melanite from Kayes Region, Mali. One dominant 51mm crystal is decorated by smaller ones. The Melanites are black with perfect razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. They have pretty beveled edges. The specimen is almost complete all over floater with small contacts and nicks.
