Beautiful specimen of pristine Corundum var. Ruby crystals on black Muscovite from Zazafotsy Quarry, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar. The crystals to 18mm have rich purple color. They are sharp and very well terminated. The luster is strong. Displays some gemminess. Some nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
