Gorgeous specimen of gem Hessonite Garnets with Diopside and Clinochlore from Susa Valley, Torino Province, Italy. The Hessonite crystals to 4mm are gem with rich and very saturated red-brown color. The colorfulness of the specimen is marvelous. They have very sharp crystallization with strong luster and nicely reflect the light. Light green, almost colorless Diopside crystals form the base. Green Clinochlore rosettes are seen too. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
