Beautiful specimen of pristine Corundum var. Ruby crystals on black Muscovite from Zazafotsy Quarry, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar. The crystals to 12mm have rich purple color. They are sharp and very well terminated. The luster is strong. Displays some gemminess. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
