Superb specimen of Cuprite crystals partially pseudomorphed by Copper from Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe Cu-Zn-Pb deposit, Russia. Displays sharp Cuprite octahedrons intergrown together. One dominant 16mm crystal at the top forms an excellent focal point. Some areas of the Cuprite have been replaced and pseudomorphed by Copper, keeping the octahedral shape. The Cuprite has very strong luster and light reflection. Complete all over 360 degree specimen. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014.
