Gorgeous bi-color Vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals have marvelous color variation from intense and saturated purple to very pleasing and rich honey-orange and red. The Vesuvianites are gemmy and glassy. Some crystals are doubly terminated. The luster, the colors and the quality are superb. That is among the best and more intense colors that the mine produced. Displays all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Irresistible!
