Marvelous combo specimen of Diopside and Vesuvianite from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals have intense purple color to apple-green areas and very strong luster. The colors are rich and the crystals are gemmy. The Diopsides are thin, glassy windowpane crystals. They are clear, transparent and gemmy with bright caramel color to colorless. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
