Splendid combo of bi-color Vesuvianite and Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals have from purple color to apple-green areas. The crystals are gemmy with a strong luster and are well shaped. Some crystals are doubly terminated. The Diopside crystals grow above. They are transparent and gemmy with amber color. Displays from many sides. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. Some contacts.
