Very unusual specimen of Quartz crystals sliced by thin Calcite layers from Bor Pit, Dal negorsk, Russia. They have sharp shape and irregular thickness due to tectonic movements. Thin layers of Calcite cut them by very unusual manner forming cool parallel plates. The Quartz crystals are from translucent to transparent with strong luster. Displays all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
