Beautiful specimen of sharp Garnet var. Andradite crystals on Hedenbergite base and decorated by Quartz crystals from Serifos Island, Greece. Rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 16mm are nested on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, growing in a cluster. Aesthetic finish is the Quartz crystals. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
