Magnificent combo specimen of gem Grossular Garnet crystals attractively decorated by green Diopside blades from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are extremely transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing orange color. They are up to 4mm big. The Diopside crystals are green, well crystallized, with elegant shape. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition - one small contact. On acrylic base.
