Gorgeous and sparkling specimen of Garnet var. Grossular var. Chromian with Clinochlore inclusions from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals to 6mm are with rich green color - result of Chromium. They have rhombic dodecahedral sharp crystallization, glassy luster and irresistible color. The crystals are gem. The Clinochlore inclusions give darker aspect to the Garnets. Very hard to find one of these now – the mine is closed. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some contacts.
Astonishing glowing green gems!
