Wonderful specimen of Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality - Saranovskii Mine, Russia. Displays a base densely covered by Uvarovite in crystals to 1 mm. They are slightly gemmy with strong brilliance and luster combined with deep intense emerald-green color. Sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals – very sparkling and shiny. The bottom is sawed.
