Pleasing specimen of gem Hessonite Garnets with Clinochlore from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The Hessonite crystals to 4mm are gem with rich red-brown color. They have very sharp rhombic-dodecahedral crystallization with strong luster and nicely reflect the light. Rosettes of green Clinochlore aggregates form the base. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
