Killer crystal of super gem Grossular Garnet var. Tsavorite from Merelani Hills, Tanzania.  The Tsavorite is very rare, green, chromium or vanadium variety of Grossular.  It displays 19mm big, vitreous, clear, transparent and gem Tsavorite with glassy luster. The crystal is 34.5 carats (6.9 grams). It has rich green color and razor sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit.  The clarity of the crystal is amazing. Some Graphite is seen at the base. Complete all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some micro nicks and base contacts. On acrylic base.
