Splendid Sphalerite octahedron sitting freely on a base from Madan ore field, Bulgaria. It displays black Sphalerite crystal with strong luster, sharp and complete octahedral shape. The main 18 mm Sphalerite crystal at the top forms superb focal point. At the base are seen smaller Sphalerite crystals with Galena and cream Calcite. Displays aesthetically all over 360 degree. In good condition – some small nicks and base contacts. On acrylic base.
