Splendid connoisseur specimen from unique find in Tantara Mine, Congo-Kinshasa of Shattuckite pseudomorph after Dioptase, after Calcite. The secondary Copper silicate Shattuckite replaces Dioptase crystals replacing the first generation of pointy Calcite crystals. Shattuckite has intense and saturated dark blue color. Also in the base is seen a blue-green Chrysocolla layer covered by white Calcite. Above grow Dioptase crystals and spheres of Shattuckite. Some contacts.
Excellent double pseudomorph!
