Lovely specimen of blood red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite attractively set on a base covered by black Mottramite or Manganese Oxides from Mibladen Mining District, Morocco. The crystals have intense dark blood color and they are slightly gemmy. The faces are from lustrous to more matt. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In good condition – some nicks and small damage. On acrylic base.
