Splendid combo specimen of gem Garnet var. Spessartine crystals decorating single black Tourmaline var. Schorl from Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Pakistan. The Spessartine crystals are up to 10mm big and have perfect shape. They are sharp and highly lustrous with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. Schorl is well crystallized with strong luster and nice striations. Displays beautifully all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some minor nicks and base contact. On acrylic base.
