Richly colored Quartz var. Amethyst from a new find in this less common Bulgarian locality - Chala Mine, Spachievo ore field, Bulgaria. It displays Quartz var. Amethyst crystals which grow vertically on a colorless Quartz layer. The color is very intense and saturated dark purple. The crystals are chunky with sharp pyramidal tips and good luster. In very good condition – some small damages.
