Cute richly honey-orange colored Grossular Garnet crystals attractively set on dark Clinochlore from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. This is quite uncommon specimen from Jeffrey mine. The Grossular crystals are up to 8mm, transparent, gem quality with superb luster to some more matt faces. Perfect rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit with rhomboid shape faces - classic for this locality. Clinochlore crystals well developed in rosette clusters. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.

Enchanting!
