Knappenwand is a world famous mineral locality for fine Epidote-Byssolite and this is an attractive Byssolite specimen. Very delicate clusters of dense, fibrous hair like Byssolite needles cover the base. The Byssolite has green color and it is very sparkling. White Albite and Epidote crystals add a nice accent.
