Attractive specimen of Hematite decorated by Quartz crystals from Ste Marie-aux-Mines, France where the famous minerals show is held. The Hematite crystals are sharp plates with extremely lustrous faces which nicely reflect the light. They grow in a crust of dense rosettes. Above grow well isolated Quartz crystals with slight smoky appearance and nice transparency. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts.
