Excellent old specimen of reticulated Cerussite from Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. It was mined before 1941 and was part of the collection of the German collector Dr. W. Schmidt – comes with an old label. After the piece went to the collection of R and W Rossel, Berlin, Germany - comes with second label. The reticulated growth is due to cyclic twinning forming nice snowflake pattern. The Cerussite blades are sharp and lustrous. Complete all over 360 degree. In good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.
Aesthetic Cerussite!
