Splendid bi-color Vesuvianite specimen from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals are gemmy with charming color variations from rich purple to attractive apple-green. They have glassy luster and are very well crystallized. Many crystals are doubly terminated. Displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some very small contacts. On acrylic base.
Fantastic Vesuvianite!
