Beautiful specimen of Aegirine and salmon-pink Serandite on Albite from the famous Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. It displays a sculptural structure of black spear shaped crystals of Aegirine with good luster on Albite rosettes. The Albite crystals are colorless, sharp and very well shaped with some transparence, and strong pearly luster. The Serandite cubic crystals are well developed and slightly gemmy with pleasing salmon-pink color, and good luster. For references see The Mineralogical Record, 21, 332-333. In very good condition – some minor damages. On acrylic base.
Fantastic!
