Marvelous specimen of colorful Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality Saranovskii Mine, Russia. Displays a base covered by Uvarovite in beautiful crystals. Typically these Uvarovites are in micro size crystals and very densely grown but these ones are different – with size up to 2mm and well shaped. They have strong luster combined with vivid and intense emerald-green color – absolutely adorable. Sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals – very sparkling and shiny. In very good condition – some small contacts.
