Killer specimen of razor sharp tetrahedral Helvine crystals from Huanggang Fe-Sn deposit, China. Helvine is an uncommon silicate. The crystals form marvelous cluster sliced in two by thin white Calcite plate. The Helvines are lustrous with rich brown-red color. The quality is very high with partially translucent areas. The Helvine forms a solid solution with Genthelvite. The specimen is complete all over 360 degree and very aesthetic. In excellent condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
