Aesthetic specimen of Garnet var. Andradite crystals on Hedenbergite decorated by Quartz from Serifos Island, Greece. It displays rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 7mm nested on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, grown in a cluster. Aesthetic finish is the Quartz crystal. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
