Striking specimen of Chalcopyrite iridescent in glittering purple, yellow and blue when properly lighted from Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The Chalcopyrite crystals are lustrous and strongly light reflective. They are well shaped with attractive striations. The colors are due to Covellite coating. They are extremely saturated and electric on a strong light. Super addition is sharp cubic Galena crystals. In excellent condition – some small nicks.
